Bethenny Frankel has offered her open theory about recent drone sightings over New York and New Jersey.

The Real Housewives of New York City alum shared a video about the drones on TikTok on Monday (December 17), claiming she spoke to someone whose father works for the Pentagon and NASA.

“You’re going to think I’m crazy, but why should today be any different than everyone else,” she said. “He has informed me that he will never forgive himself if he does not tell people that he knows he has been monitoring this situation for a month.”

“These drones are ours and they could potentially detect something very dangerous,” she added.

The reality star – who has a home in the Hamptons, New York – also claimed that areas coinciding with the locations where the drones were seen “have increased levels of radiation.” Frankel explained how her friend told her to “think about where she is” and consider going somewhere else with her 14-year-old daughter Bryn, who she shares with ex-husband Jason Hoppy.

“For me, we dismiss things and think nothing will happen. But things happen,” Frankel continued.

After noting that she was simply “watching” what happens to the drones, she claimed that President-elect Donald Trump has now discovered that these drones are “ours.”

“What decisions did the government have? “A, tell us they are doing exactly that and causing widespread panic and turmoil,” she added. “Or B, do what they do. But something is wrong, otherwise they would eliminate (the drones).”

In a follow-up video, she responded to someone who questioned her original theory, asking why the drones were mostly visible at night. She claimed that’s because “sunlight interferes with any type of radiation or light that they’re looking for.”

When one person in the comments praised Frankel’s take, she clarified, “It’s a THEORY and only that, but something is wrong.”

Shortly before the reality star shared her theory about the drones, controversial podcaster Joe Rogan also commented on the incident.

The FBI, Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense and Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) have released a joint statement on the spate of drone sightings over New Jersey and New York, bowing to growing public demands for an explanation.

“After extensive review of technical data and tips from concerned citizens, we conclude that sightings to date include a combination of legal commercial drones, hobby drones and law enforcement drones, as well as manned fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and stars falsely reported as drones,” federal authorities said.

“We have not identified any anomalies and do not assess the activity to date as a risk to national security or public safety over civil airspace in New Jersey or other Northeastern states.”

Meanwhile, the FBI office in Newark, New Jersey, has warned the public not to shoot the unmanned devices, warning that they could harm themselves.
