You may know AMC as the network behind The Walking Dead, but the AMC+ streaming service offers much more. For $1.25 for the first two months through Amazon ($4.99 after that), you’ll get access to thousands upon thousands of hours of programming, from Snowpiercer to Orphan Black and beyond.

On Prime Day, AMC+ offered 50% off the $8.99 tier, but this is the cheapest deal we’ve seen so far. The great thing about AMC+ is that it includes content from other streaming services and broadcasters like Shudder, BBC America, and more.

AMC+ offers more science fiction than you can imagine with a remote control, including films like Interstellar, one of the best science fiction films of all time. But there’s plenty of other programming, too, enough to keep friends and older family members busy from Thanksgiving to Christmas; Science fiction, fantasy, horror, romance, it’s all there.

Fans of Snowpiercer, a sci-fi show set in a new Ice Age, will know AMC as the network behind that show, but AMC+’s offerings go beyond AMC’s own catalog and offer a huge selection of programs, from Science fiction to horror drama, films and shows included.

With this deal, you’ll get thousands of hours of entertainment for just $1.25 a month for two months, more than you could watch in a year. However, Thanksgiving is just a few days away and it gives you options in case the conversation stalls. And if you’re a Snowpiercer fan, you’ll be happy to know that the final season will be coming to AMC+.

This offer runs through Amazon, which means you need an Amazon account, but Prime is not required. After two months, the price increases to $4.99, but canceling before then is a breeze.

However, if you want to entertain children, this might not be for you as most of the programs are aimed at adults. Instead, consider Disney Plus or one of the other Black Friday streaming service deals.
