Bonneville officers are searching for a man who fled his home

IDAHO FALLS – Officials are searching for a 28-year-old wanted Idaho Falls man who fled from law enforcement.

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Chad Duncan Finlayson. He is wanted for three probation violations.

An officer saw Finlayson outside a residence on Fieldstream Lane at 6:30 p.m. Friday, a sheriff’s office news release said. The deputy shouted something to Finlayson, but he took off.

Two adults on scene were arrested while police attended the scene to assist in the search for Finlayson. Officers checked several areas where they received reports of a man running through yards, but Finlayson was not found, the release said.

The two adults on scene were later released.

He is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
