Born again ‘Recap, episode 6

Okay, back to our regularly planned programming. After an entertaining independent episode, “Episode 6” jumps back to the serialized story that we have followed and sets up an exciting final third of the season.

On the one hand, there is a new serial killer out there: Muse, a graffiti artist who painted the blood of his victims and killed at least 60 people for his art. Cherry asks matt to leave them and the bulls to do their work, but Matt has enough of it, and we too. Before he can plan a procedure, however, he gets some news that forces him to move quickly: Hector Ayala’s niece Angela (the fourth incarnation of White Tiger in the comics) did not come home tonight. Fortunately, Matt has a good idea where it is; Only today did she visit him at work and mentioned that her uncle examined the recent kidnaps near the old Q line before he died. Angela emphasized that he had wanted someone else to end his work, and the police cannot trust.

Watching matt to see how he says “fuck it” and decide to finally put on the red suit, instead of calling 911, is a triumphal moment, and I say that as someone who tends his black mask from seasons one and three of the original show. But it is easy to see that Daredevil Dr. Daredevil Be DaredevilReturn to part of the malice and the grit of the forefronts+ days. The sight of muse, which pumps blood from the leg of a child on a table underground, is quite worrying – and although Daredevil appears in good time for a good, tense struggle, he is forced to let muse go and in the end to prioritize the revival of Angela.

The presence of Muse also plays plans in Fisk. First the undersigned fisk Wand paintings are a nuisance for the new mayor, but there are opportunities to take advantage of the situation. Sanitary discovered a serial killer in front of the NYPD who does not reflect very well on the NYPD. Daniel also shows Fisk some photos of victims near the graffiti, another mockery of the police who could be valuable.

Fisk uses all of this as an excuse for a slightly fearsome idea: an anti-vigilant-task force of “bad apples” that have no body cameras or supervision. One of them is a good old Powell, the Smarmige policeman, whom Matt once bloody and unconscious on the floor. Another is a guy who caught someone who handed over an 11-year-old Oxy and “encouraged” him to clean. Of course, the irony here is that these police officers also act outside of the law. They are just angry and realize. But I guess it RebornThe constant criticism of law enforcement and police brutality that did not have much space in the first run.

Outside of Fisk’s war against Vigilantes, he is mostly still occupied by his wife and the port project. After the failure of a bank robbery in the last episode, Luca appears in Fisk’s office to protest against the $ 1.8 million, which he supposedly owes Viktor. But Luca’s full mood does not invite empathy exactly, and Fisk has no pity with the guy. Instead, he increases Luca’s debt to 2.8 and is calling for one million. At the moment Luca doesn’t seem to be afraid of Fisk; He tells him that he should stay away from the game and “give your wife my greetings”.

Instead of having killed Luca immediately, Fisk only ventilates over this disrespectful meeting when he sees Vanessa. He is not yet ready to get dirty. That night he trained with some New York elites at an event and recognizes the similarities between politics and crime. In the case of money and power, it is about controlling people, offering or holding back what they want to win levers. For Vanessa, who prefers to operate a criminal empire and still feel skeptical about FISK’s port plans, politics is everything ego. That may be true, but these people lead the city whether they deserve it or not. Hawkeye‘S Jack Duquesne (Tony Dalton), who criticizes FISK’s Vigilante obsession and status quo atmosphere, reminds him that the wealthy socialies should not be underestimated. And a woman calls for the port expansion for what it is: a fraudster who only enriches Fisk and the people he pays.

Fisk ultimately returns to Adam’s cell to have the struggle, after which after the after the wan, an ax thrown into the guy and let it give his best. But I think Adam would need a machine gun to even increase the chances in this fight, and even then I am not sure whether he would find out alive. Fisk easily takes control, hits it relentlessly and throws it around like a fabric doll.

The director David Boyd Crosscuts between this fight and the Daredevil Muse of Muse is clear: Both Matt and Fisk are officially again the men who leave them behind. Great news for us, but the jury is still not there, what that means for you.

• Nice to see how matt talks about praying, but I wish that this show had more focus. His Catholicism was such a large part of the old show, and it feels like something was missing here.

• In Heather’s One scene of the episode, she tells Matt about the civis of her next book and even has the bile to ask him to present it to some of his old customers such as The Punisher or Daredevil. Yikes!

• we will see more of Duquesnes swordsk granks alter ego Hawkeye In this show?

• I somehow miss Karen.
