Tatum and Brown will come across a different all-star game than in previous years. The NBA tries out a new format in which the all-stars are divided into three teams as part of a mini tournament. The teams will consist of eight players, and Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith will design the teams on February 6th.

The unique format could ultimately compete against each other, as if the all stars of the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference compete against each other.

Pascal Siakam, Darius Garland, Cade Cunningham, Evan Mabley, Damian Lillard and Tyler Herro were appointed to the other reserves of the Eastern Conference.
