I take a fundamentals-based approach to value investing. I disagree with the common misperception among many investors that low-valued stocks must be cheap. I look for companies that offer the best long-term durability at the most affordable prices. Therefore, I tend to be interested in companies with consistent long-term growth, no cyclicality and a robust balance sheet. Nonetheless, investing in a successful company is risky because you may end up paying too much (this is where valuation matters). . I firmly believe in this, but there are situations where the scope for development is so great that price is much less important in the near future.
