Bradley Beal for the 7th game in a row with injuries, Sun Face Rockets

play

Bradley Beal will miss a seventh game in a row with a left thigh pollution, while the Phoenix Suns are offset by the Houston Rockets (48-26) for a game on Sunday at 6 p.m. in the Phx Arena.

Beal most recently played in the first half of a defeat on March 16 at the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Suns (35-39) are 4: 2 without Beal during this route, but have lost their last two games to defend the NBA champion Boston at home on Wednesday and in Minnesota, 124-109, Friday evening with 30 points.

“He wants to come back,” said the rookie from Sun’s Ryan Dunn after training on Saturday. “He works off his butt.”

Beal will play in just 48 games this season this season and, in his second season, score an average of 17.3 points at 50.5% (39.5% compared to 3).

The three-time all-star has not played more than 60 games in one season since 2018-19 when they played all 82 games for a second season in a row with the Washington Wizards.

The suns are one and a half games behind the ninth seed Dallas (37-38) and Trail Sacramento (36-38) through a game for the 10th seed and the last playground at the Western Conference. Phoenix has the tiebreaker over the Mavericks, but Sacramento has the head-to-head tiebreaker over the sun.

The Suns can capture the tiebreaker over the kings if they defeated them in the final of the regular season on April 13th in Sacramento. Phoenix has the better division record.

The Rockets are second in the west after winning nine of their last 10 games.
