Bratt, Markstrom, Haula appointed to the 4 Nations | BLOG

Devils forwards Jesper Bratt and Erik Haula and goalkeeper Jacob Markstrom have been added to their respective countries’ squads for the upcoming four-nation clash taking place in Montreal and Boston in February. Bratt and Markstrom will play for Sweden, while Haula will represent Finland.

Bratt, 26, has competed with the Swedish team in several international tournaments, including the World Cup (2019), the Junior U-18 World Cup (2016), the Ivan Hlinka Tournament (2015) and the World U-18 Championship. 17 Hockey Challenge. Markstrom won a silver medal at the 2009 Junior World Championships and three bronze medals at the 2010 Junior World Championships, 2010 World Championships and 2016 World Cup of Hockey. Markstrom also played for the Swedish team at the U-18 World Cup in 2008 and the World Championships in 2016 and 2019.

Markstrom is 12-6-1 with a 2.54 goals-against average and .907 save percentage for the Devils this year. He recently played in his 500Th career NHL game and just became the 81stst Goalkeeper and third Swedish goalkeeper to do so.
