Brooklyn nets d’Angelo Russell down against Timberwolves down

On Thursday evening, the Brooklyn Nets will welcome the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Barclays Center to build on their last excursion on their victory against the Dallas Mavericks. The victory would be due to the nets due to a comeback of the fourth quarter when they enforced the hosts by seven points in the fourth quarter.

Keon Johnson, Tyrese Martin and Drew Timme managed to bring Brooklyn across the line towards the end of the game and to combine 18 of the 29 points of the Nets in the last quarter. Johnson ended the night with a team high of 24 points and did this in 52 percent on the field.

Another player who would have one night on the pitch himself would be D’Angelo Russell, who led the traffic at the offensive end and recorded 11 templates and 18 points. His evaluation efforts would be sufficient to compensate for Cameron Johnson’s lack, one of the most important goal options in Brooklyn.

Similar to Johnson against Dallas, Russell will be against the Timberwolves by the court from the Court on Thursday evening, since he was classified as likely due to the right ankle pain. This was something that was recurring for the 29-year-old because it stayed away from the ground against the Indiana Pacers at the end of March.

His absence against the Pacers because of his right ankle was not an isolated event because he missed five games in February after he sprained it in a game against Cleveland Cavaliers. When everything is said and done, Russell missed 16 games since he returned to the Nets at the end of December.

This did not prevent him from being an important part of Brooklyn’s offensive plans, since he achieved an average of 13.3 points when shooting 37.4 percent and at the same time spent 5.7 assists per game. In view of the long -term absence of cam Thomas, these contributions have become much more important, which was able to miss the rest of the season due to a tense left thigh.

If Johnson is supposed to miss the match, Brooklyn head coach Jordi Fernandez has many opportunities to choose from to fill his shoes, including REECE Beekman, Tyson Etienne and the Johnson mentioned above.

The networks will take over against the Timberwolves on Thursday evening, with the tip for 7:30 p.m. EST.
