“Buffy” star Sarah Michelle Gellar honors late on the Sister Michelle Trachtenberg screen

Michelle Trachtenberg’s former “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, Costar Sarah Michelle Gellar, can look back on her time together on the screen and a day after the death of Trachtenberg in New York City.

On Thursday, Gellar released a number of photos in her verified Instagram account, on which she and the deceased 39-year-old former children’s actress showed over the years. This included moments from the show, their time that promotes them, and some apparently personal photos, including one of Tradtenberg, who smiled a child at a delicate moment.

Gellar added a message next to the photos in quotes, which was: “Michelle, listen to me. Hear. I love you. I will always love you. The most difficult thing in this world is to live in it. I will be brave. I’ll live … for you ”

The police answered a 911 call on Wednesday shortly after 8 a.m. and found an unconscious and non -reacting woman in an apartment in Manhattan. According to a NYPD spokesman, it was later identified as Trachtenberg.

The NYPD said in a statement that “crime is not suspected”.

On Thursday, the New York City medical examiner decided the actress’s death, according to a spokeswoman for the agency “vague”. Her family rejected an autopsy and because Trachtenberg’s death of law enforcement authorities was not classified as suspicious, the medical examiner’s office honored this request, said the spokesman.

Although they have worked with “Buffy” for several years, Trachtenberg and Gellar actually cross the paths to “all my children”. From 1993 to ’95 Kendall Hart and Trachtenberg, Gellar worked on the show from 1994 to 1996.

Trachtenberg joined “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” in the fifth season of the show and played the youthful sister of the title character Dawn – a surprising addition because Buffy was the only child up to this point.

Before Trachtenberg came to the line -up, she described herself as a “huge fan” of the WB series, inspired by a 1992 film of the same name about a youthful vampire hunter.

“I am a changing encyclopedia of ‘Buffy’,” she said in 2000 to Entertainment Weekly.

A supernatural explanation for Dawn’s abrupt appearance was finally unveiled in the course of the show, and it appeared in episodes until the series was completed in 2003.

Trachtenberg apparently stayed in contact with Gellar, who commented on an old, undated photo Trachtenberg from the two a few months ago.

James Marsters, who played Spike, called her “a beautiful soul”, who was “violently intelligent, howling funny and a very talented person”.

After “Buffy’s” conclusion, Trachtenberg had roles at “Gossip Girl”, “Weeds” and NBC Medical Drama “Mercy”.
