TALLAHASSEE, Fla. | The Alabama A&M University football team came up just short in the season finale, losing to Florida A&M 28-20 in a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) game Friday night at Bragg Memorial Stadium.

Florida A&M (7-5 ​​overall, 5-3 SWAC) got the ball early in the game and needed just 32 seconds to score when Thad Franklin Jr. ran in a 25-yard touchdown with 14:28 left scored a goal before the end of the opening quarter.
