Burlington man who was arrested after robberies, the police say, says the police

It is expected that a man from Burlington will compete against a judge on Monday after he was arrested last week because of allegedly several robberies.

The Burlington police authority accused 25-year-old Bobby Bethune from Burlington two attacks and robberies and a count of theft according to the incidents.

The Burlington police said they were alerted on Friday about a robbery in North Winooski Avenue, where a man supposedly went into a shop and used a note to request money before running away with cash.

Later on that day, the department said that it was called by a company in the South Union Street for another robbery. Here, too, the witnesses of the police announced that a man with a similar description gave the employee behind the register a note, demanded money and said they had a bomb in the bathroom.

Finally, the police were called to Kinney Drugs in the Shelburne Road on Saturday.

The police were able to identify Bethune as a suspect in all three cases and arrested him in the parking lot of the city market.

The investigators said Bethune had been released from a correctional facility on the day before the robberies.

Bethune will be recorded in Northwest Correctional Facility until his court presence against the deposit of 10,000 US dollars in Northwest.
