Can’d Aid opens a benevolent bazaar with rare fishing and a musician opportunity

Can’d Aid – the national nonprofit organization that provides underprivileged youth with musical experiences, educational opportunities and tools to inspire the next generation of artists – has launched its third annual online fundraising auction. The Benevolent Bazaar is underway and open to the public until the end of the day on December 16, 2024.

As a highlight of the charity auction, members of headliners such as Steep Canyon Rangers, Kitchen Dwellers, Tyler Childers’ Food Stamps and The Infamous Stringdusters will donate their time as part of the Fishin’ With a Musician offering. This rare opportunity offers fans the opportunity to bid on 21 different fishing trips, including floating, bass casting, crabbing and more, all supporting Can’d Aid’s charitable mission.

In addition to the auction’s “Fishin’ With Musician” offerings, Benevolent Bazaar features exemplary items and unique experiences, from travel and live music to guitars signed by Paul Simon and Tyler Chiders, art, outdoor adventures and more.

Can’d Aid’s commitment to supporting the next generation of musicians and arts supporters is leveraged in their work to donate over 3,800 instruments to public school music programs through a variety of touring musicians called TUNES Ambassadors. These individuals donate their time by supporting students through in-person workshops, live music performances, fundraising, and initiatives such as Fishin’ With a Musicians.

Speaking about his involvement with Can’d Aid, which began in 2014, Graham Sharp of Steep Canyon Rangers said: “It’s a truly unforgettable experience to see the look on the children’s faces when you start learning at the fundraising events to play along.” For many of these children, this is their first live music experience. “Fishin’ With a Musician is a unique experience that allows us to enjoy a day on the water with our fans while ensuring Can’Aid can continue to bring music to children for years to come.”

The Benevolent Bazaar featuring “Fishing with a Musician” is open until December 16, 2024 (end of day, midnight MT). Bid now.
