Brentford coach Thomas Frank believes Brighton & Hove Albion’s Cameroon midfielder Carlos Baleba is destined for greater things.

The Bees and Seagulls will host a Premier League meeting at the AmEx Stadium on Friday evening and Frank admits he has been impressed by 20-year-old Baleba this season.

They have so many dangers in the future that I expect a difficult game,” noted the Brentford coach.

Every away game is a chance to turn your away form around. We go there believing we can win. Nevertheless, Brighton are a strong team.

I think (Brighton manager) Fabian Hürzeler has done a good job. They have a very good squad, a more or less fully staffed squad.

“(Kaoru) Mitoma finds his form again. (João) We know that Pedro is a top player.

(Carlos) Baleba is an excellent midfielder. He will definitely move to one of the bigger clubs in the future.”

Baleba is in his second season at Brighton and has scored three goals in 15 appearances across all competitions.
