CBS Rules Analyst Gene Steratore has confused his sports while Michigan-Texas A&M

Many mistakes are made during March’s madness. Is your bracket already broken? If not, it will be soon.

On Saturday the CBS Rules analyst Gene Steratore fell a simple mistake, but he happened to do it when he was on national television.

While Steratoratore set off a potential goalkeeper call during a game between Texas A&M and No. 5 Michigan, he called basketball a football.

“Good view from the top,” said Steratore. “You can see that a percentage of this football is still above the cylinder. I think they take it away.”

It is understandable that Steratore would suffer such a fumbling. He wears many hats as a basketball and football rules analyst for CBS and, as such, always has to keep many rules in his head. Sometimes things are confused!

Nevertheless, the fans quickly had a bit of fun at the expense of Steratore.

Michigan would ultimately defeat Texas A&M with two touchdowns with an end result of 91 to 79.
