Celestyal canceled the upcoming visits to Santorini – Cruise Industry News

Celestyal Cruises canceled in March and April due to seismic activities on the island in Santorini.

According to a declaration shared on the company’s website, the change affects the route “iconic Greek islands”.

“We continuously monitor our global operations, including the latest seismic activities that have been recorded in the Aegean,” said the company.

“In accordance with the recent advice of the Greek government, we will update our travel routes and proactively replace Santorini,” continued Celestyal.

The three- and four-night cruises sail on board the Celestyal Discovery and now include a visit to Heraklion, Greece.

“We are in the process of informing all affected customers and partners, and we also pointed out that we are committed to returning to the island as soon as the government has considered sure to do this,” added Celestyal.

The company found that it is ready to return to Santorini when the situation improves and a safe and pleasant experience is safe.

Celestyal will currently return to the island on May 1, 2025.

According to reports, three other cruise lines are canceled their visits to Santorini in 2025.

According to Arxipelagos, Viking, Selectum Blu and Miray also decided to visit their calls in the coming weeks to visit the Greek island.

Viking was originally opened in February and two more arrivals can be canceled to Santorini.

Instead of sailing to sail, the Viking star will now visit Mykonos and Nafplio.

Miray Cruises also replaces visits to Santorini in March, with the Gemini now going to Syros.

Selectum Blu replaces his visits to Santorini.

The Blue Sapphire sails from Turkey and will visit Patmos during its four -member cruises.

Other cruise lines that previously canceled visits to Santorini in 2025 are princess, Costa and Aida.
