Chance for thunderstorms for Orioles Home Opener – Baltimore Sun

This week, temperatures with 80 temperatures are expected in the Baltimore area, as well as the chances of scattered showers and thunderstorms that may threaten the Orioles Home -Opener on Monday.

Sunday is expected to mostly cloudy with a high of 79 and the wind speeds, which, according to the National Weather service, are expected to reach 18 miles per hour. Usually cloudy conditions should take a low of 63 to the evening.

After 4 a.m., scattered showers are expected, which the stage builds up for potential showers and possibly a thunderstorm after Monday at 2 p.m. The Home Opener of Orioles begins at 3:05 p.m. against the Boston Red Sox. The possibility of showers and a thunderstorm remains until around 11 p.m.

The team has already had a rain since it returned from spring training to Mid-Atlantic. An exhibition game against the Washington Nationale was canceled one hour and six minutes after the originally planned start time on March 24th. The Nationals decided not to start a rain delay in front of the homecoming gala event in Washington.

The high on Monday is expected to be around 77 with the wind speeds of 11 to 14 miles per hour and gusts of up to 24 miles per hour. The low is expected to be 44 with wind speeds of 7 miles per hour and 10 miles per hour with gusts of up to 20 miles per hour.

Tuesday is expected to be the first sunny weekday with a high of 57 and gusts of wind that is expected to reach 22 miles per hour. The Tuesday evening is expected to remain mostly clear with a low of 38.

Wednesday is expected to be partially sunny, with a maximum of 59 years. The cloud cover should present potential showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday evening for the second round of the week.

Showers will be predicted after Thursday after 2 p.m. It is expected that the conditions are mostly cloudy all day and are around 79 a.m.

A chance for showers extends in Thursday evening, although the conditions are likely to remain mostly cloudy.

Showering will probably remain on Friday on Friday, with most cloudy conditions being expected. The projected wedding on Friday is 71.
