CIO AJIT Girn to Hopline sector -Insider -Member meeting with EDD

The top technology -executive of the State Department of Employment Development (EDD), Chief Information Officer Ajit Girn Industry insider – California Member of the member work in Sacramento next month.

Girn, who has been working in the CIO role for a year, is contributed to the presentation of Loree Levy, the deputy director of public affairs for EDD.

Girn has more than 20 years of experience in the public and private sector, and his focus uses the technology to promote innovation and improve the services for the public. It leads the modernization and strategic direction of the IT branch of EDD and monitors critical systems that enable the payment of services through unemployment insurance, disability insurance and paid family vacation benefits. His efforts contribute to Eddnext, the modernization that the department has undertaken with the aim of the streamlined services.

He is Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and ITIL expert with an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Levy, who came to EDD in 2001, helps with the administration of the EDD brand by carrying out campaigns for public education and providing simple training and measuring customer experience with real-time data and implementable knowledge. Before their belonging to EDD, Levy spent 15 years in television news, including as an on-air reporter for the NBC partner KCRA-TV Channel 3 and as a news speaker for “Good Day Sacramento” at KPWB TV.

Levy has a bachelor’s degree in communication from California State University in Sacramento.
