Comedy by Detroit Director Hit Now Streaming on Netflix

Lawrence Lamont’s debut was a hit with critics and audiences alike.

Lawrence Lamont, director of Detroit, “One of you Days”, one of the biggest comic hits of the year, are now streaming on Netflix.

The comedy stars Keke Palmer and Sza as roommates of Los Angeles, who want to find money over a crazy day to avoid evacuation. Katt Williams, Lil Rel Howery, Maude Apatow and Gabrielle Dennis Co-Star.

The film was published with glowing reviews in January – it has a new grade of 94% for Rotten tomatoes – and opened 2nd place at the box office, which was drawn by “Mufasa: The Lion King”. In North American theaters, it earned 50 million US dollars, a healthy return of the registered budget of $ 14 million.

“One of you Days” is the debut feature of Lamont, who cuts your teeth, make music videos, including clips for Big Sean.

Lamont grew up on Detroits East Side and was a film fan at a young age and was helped by Brenda Perryman, his drama teacher Southfield High School, in his love for the dramatic arts.

“One of them Days” was shot in July 2024 according to a narrow 21-day time plan. Next says Lamont says that he wants to try a franchise company.

“I want to do a few action comedy things, some big things,” said Lamont the Detroit News in January. “I have something IP in mind, there are some things that I really want to do.”

“One of them Days” arrived in Netflix on Monday. The film is rated for language, sexual material and short drug use and runs for 97 minutes.
