Community spirit shines at the Alabama Tree Festival

A holiday tree festival brings joy and hope to families in central Alabama. The Helping Hands Tree Festival was held along Avenue D and was organized by Helping Hands Alabama, an organization dedicated to supporting children at the Lovelady Center during the holiday season. Dozens of artificial Christmas trees from J+J Flooring were on display at the festival. Local volunteers decorated the trees and filled them with festive treats. “All of the trees you see here were designed by our local architecture and interior design firms,” said J+J Account Manager Laurel Parham. “We have worked with the Lovelady Center before and it felt like a fitting partnership.” The decorated trees will be delivered to the Lovelady Center on Friday, where children can choose their favorite tree to brighten their holidays. This heartwarming gesture ensures every child experiences the magic and joy of the holiday season. The community’s collective effort highlights the spirit of giving and the importance of supporting one another.
