Cooper Kupp congratulates Ja’Marr Chase on his Triple Crown season

Cooper Kupp put together one of the best seasons ever as a wide receiver in 2021 as he led the NFL in receptions and receiving yards and touchdown catches. His impressive numbers earned him the triple crown and Offensive Player of the Year honors, ultimately winning the Super Bowl MVP.

Ja’Marr Chase joined Kupp in the Triple Crown club this season as he led the league with 127 catches, 1,708 yards and 17 touchdown catches while dominating the Bengals week after week.

After Chase’s triple crown became official, Kupp shared a cool message for him on social media. He congratulated Chase on an “incredible year” and called him “constantly unguarded.”

Chase is just the sixth wide receiver in the Super Bowl era to win the Triple Crown, with Kupp being the youngest before him. Unlike Kupp, he won’t win Super Bowl MVP if the Bengals don’t make the playoffs, but that doesn’t change the special season he just had.

It’s great to see Kupp Chase being congratulated by one playmaker after another on his rare achievement.
