‘Cottage Country’ Murder Brings Couple Even Closer on SCREAMBOX (Trailer)

“Doom Patrol” and “Cloak & Dagger” actors Miles Mussenden is set carry along together Britt Bankhead (“Winchester”) in the mystery thriller Croatian, diversity reported today. The thriller also marks Bankhead’s feature film debut.

Nico Tirozzi (Monster summer), Grace Patterson (Slotherhouse), And Mike Markoff (killer)also play along Croatian.

Mussenden plays “a father whose family journey takes him to an abandoned small town. After his son (Tirozzi) goes missing, Bankhead’s character resorts to teaming up with two detectives (Mussenden and Patterson) and analyzing the community’s oddballs to investigate the local, supernatural legend of “Croatoan.”

While this logline contains the only plot details revealed at this point, the film’s title brings with it some history “Lost Colony” to think. It refers to the Roanoke colony, founded in 1585, which seemingly disappeared without a trace when a ship arrived in 1590 and found the colony deserted, with only the cryptic word “Croatoan” carved into a tree. More than Hundreds of English colonists had fallen victim to an unknown fate, and the lack of answers has given rise to countless theories, particularly paranormal theories, in the centuries since.
