Could Kus Bill Self be the next basketball coach in Texas Longhorns?

The 22-year-old Kansas coach also believes that the zero college basketball has given more parity than ever.

“I would say that there is more parity, and I would say that it has a greater chance of what is perceived as an annoyance in today’s game than a surprise just because everyone who is good enough to pay,” said Self recently. “And you don’t pay boys unless they are good enough to beat teams who also have real boys. So yes. I would say there is more parity.”

There are rumors that Self’s Agent spoke to Texas in a way, but this chatter is not confirmed. It makes sense that the sports director of Texas, Chris Del Conte, would follow himself a name. Apparently interest has shown itself. But that could all be a dance from Self’s Camp to get more money out of KuS coffers.

Himself denies that he is watching retirement, but he could use the longhorns to put pressure on the KU administrators. He has been in Kansas for 22 years and had success in Lawrence, including two NCAA championships. Stay on this, it could get very hot.
