Daniil Medwedev breaks down Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard’s surcharge

Daniil Medwedev sagged on the square until the end of 2024 and beginning in 2025. The 29-year-old was quickly upset and suspended several fines for his outbursts during the games.

However, Medvedev has played better recently and had more fun during the competition. On Wednesday, Medwedev Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard defeated in the 16th round at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

Mpetshi Perricard recorded a historic increase last year to win the ATP Prize of 2024 ATP. The mighty surcharge of the Frenchman regularly serves 230 km/h.

Surprisingly, Mpetshi Perricard only hit three aces while making six double mistakes. In the meantime, Medwedev hit six aces and a double mistake. Mpetshi Perricard was 50% of 66% on his first surcharge of Medwedevs.

After Medwedev Metshi Perricard defeated in straight sets, he explained his way of thinking when he faced his powerful opponent.

“In a way, it is much more difficult to return a serve that is 230 than 190. But in a way, if it is 190, you have little time to think: ‘What do I do?’ You don’t have time here, so it’s pure reflexes, “said Medvedev.

“Sometimes it makes life easier because you don’t think much. If you don’t give it back, you are not even disappointed. If there were some second portions and I missed it, I was disappointed. You just try to do your best. I did quite well today.”

Medvedev is definitely best if he is not in his own head and rethinks. Today was a perfect example of his veteran pleasure when it is locked up and concentrated.

Medvedev is currently the ATP World No. 6 with a record of 6-4. His next match is against Tallon Griekspoor in the quarter -finals at 10:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, February 27th, at 10:00 a.m.
