Denver Falls to Idaho State

POCATELLO, ID –The Denver women’s basketball team lost 73-61 on the road to the Idaho State Bengals on Wednesday.

The Pioneers (3-4) had two players score in double figures, led by Mary Wilsonwho had 15 points. Jordan Jones added 11 points and eight rebounds and Angelina Robles added nine points.

The Denver offense fired its attacks from beyond the arc, making nine three-pointers on 21 attempts. Wilson hit five treys for the Pioneers in the contest.

The Pioneers continued their comeback, but Idaho State managed to hold on for the 73-61 win. Denver fired away from the middle of the quarter, knocking down four shots, scoring 12 of its 21 points.
