Deshaun Watson “Starke Chance” played his last game for Browns

The Cleveland Browns are initially stuck with quarterback Deshaun Watson thanks to his massive contract, but that doesn’t mean that he will adapt to the team again.

Dan Graziano von ESPN reported on Sunday that “there is a strong chance that Watson played his last game as a brown.” He said that the “overwhelming faith” in the league was that Cleveland would use No. 2 in the NFL design from 2025 on Miamis Cam Ward or Colorados Shedur Sanders.

Mary Kay Cabot from Cleveland.com reported on Wednesday that Watson is “determined to celebrate a comeback” when he recovered from his second Achilles tear. However, the three-time Pro-Bowler stares at an uncertain future.

If you put Watson’s content aside, the browns simply have no compelling reason to start a quarterback that fought average less than 200 meters per game with injuries in 19 starts in the last three seasons.

If Cleveland Ward or Sanders take, it would signal a clear pivot point. The franchise would not cause this type of investment to simply turn around and bring Watson back to the top of the deep card in 2026.

This is the reason why the biggest question is at this point whether the browns simply have a lot of money or watsons deal rejected next spring.

The name “He as June 1st in 2026) would still cost $ 72.9 million next year in 2027. If the price is the same in both cases, Watson could remain because the backup is better than paying him almost $ 73 million in order to do nothing.

Both scenario supports Graziano’s report because a violation of Cleveland’s starter may be the only way for Watson who sees the field in a Browns uniform again.
