Diamondbacks, 2b Ketel Marte discuss the contract extension

The Arizona Diamondbacks and Ketel Marte are confirmed in discussions about an extension of the contract Arizona Sport ‘ John Gambadoro.

Gambadoro adds that the goal is to give Martes’s current business, which he signed in 2022 and pass through a club option in 2028 so that he retires a diamondback.

Last year the 31-year-old was one of the best martes, with the 31-year-old .292/.372/.570 with an operation of 0.932 in 136 games played (504 AT bats). He set career as Homeruns (36) and RBIS (95) on the way to his second MLB All-Star game and a silver Slugger nod.

He is also not defensively not a slouch and is appointed Gold Glove finalist last year.
