Dodgers notes: LA signs reliever, contract negotiations with postseason hero Miguel Rojas talk big sacrifice

The Los Angeles Dodgers are reportedly discussing a contract extension with utility player Tommy Edman. Edman won the National League Championship Series MVP with the Dodgers and is scheduled to become a free agent in 2025.

The Dodgers have signed reliever Giovanny Gallegos to a minor league deal. Gallegos last played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Minnesota Twins during the 2024 season. In 2024, he recorded a 6.53 ERA.

Dodgers shortstop Miguel Rojas explained to Doug McKain of Dodgers Nation the sacrifices the Dodgers made in the postseason that helped the Dodgers win the World Series.
