Meanwhile, the public prosecutor said that the shootout was a trick for Daybell to get rid of her alienated husband so that she could take out his life insurance of $ 1 million and be with her current husband Chad Daybell, whom she married four months after the shootout.

The public prosecutor continued that she called her “twisted” religious beliefs as a justification for the murder and gave her brother “religious authority” to kill Vallow because they believed that he was obsessed with an evil spirit, which she described as “ned”.

For over two weeks, the state called more than a dozen witnesses, including Daybell’s other brother Adam Cox, who said that he had “undoubtedly” passed his two siblings of killing Vallow when he learned that his brother had fatally shot him.

In her final argument, the deputy prosecutor of Maricopa County, Treena Kay, said the evidence on site showed that Vallow was not shot in self -defense, but was “executed” and the scene was “staged”. She told SMS, who was sent to her husband Tchad by Lori Daybell, seven days after Vallow was killed, and discussed the life insurance of her husband, who has now died. Kay said when he found out that she was no longer the plane of the plan, the accused Chad wrote that “Ned probably” changed “before we get rid of him. “

The public prosecutor also discussed a text message that the accused Alex Cox sent days before the deadly shootout, in which she said that they could be “like Nephi” to kill Laban a prophet in the book Mormon.

“Lori Vallow wanted the millions of dollars and she wanted Chad Daybell, and she and Alex used the twisted religious beliefs so that they could kill evil, possessed by Charles and ‘like Nephi’,” said Kay.

Three jurors who spoke to reporters after the judgment said that the SMS evidence had noticed in this case during the consultation. The jurors said they had no knowledge of Lori Daybell’s earlier convictions that were not discussed during the Phoenix attempt.

Members of Vallow’s family pressed relief in the culprit judgment.

“I am ready to continue,” Vallow’s sister Kay Woodcock told reporters in front of the courthouse.

“It was painted on us and our life was in a tornado for a long time,” she said.

According to the culprit judgment, Lori Daybell agreed in this case several aggravating factors instead of finding a jury. Among them, she agreed that this was a dangerous crime and that it was the presence of a complicity. When asked whether she agreed that the victim’s victim “suffered emotional or financial damage,” she said, “absolutely”.

She is convicted of another upcoming legal proceedings in Maricopa County, where she is further accused, with her brother Alex Cox to kill Brandon Boudreax, her niece’s ex-husband.

Three months after Vallow’s shootout, Boudraux 911 called to report that someone drove past a jeep in front of his vehicle in front of his house in Gilbert, Arizona.

In this case, she has not guilty.

Both Lori and Chad Daybell were guilty of murdering their first degree because of the death of their children Joshua “JJ” Vallow (7) and Tylee Ryan (16), who were missing months after Charles Vallow’s death. In separate court proceedings in 2023 and 2024, the prosecutors argued that the couple thought that the children were obsessed and murdered zombies so that they could be together. The remains of the children were found in June 2020 after months of searching on an Idaho ownership of Daybell.

Lori Daybell is currently serving a life in prison without probation for the murders of her two children. She denied having killed her.

Chad Daybell was sentenced to death after he was convicted of murder to the two children and his first wife, Tamara Daybell, and is now waiting for the execution in Idaho’s death cell.
