Popular actors like Broly, who previously only appeared in films, became so popular that fans advocated for them to be made canon.

Episode 8 of Dragon Ball DAIMA Anime may have paved the way for the introduction of another iconic character into the series’ main story: Android 21. Dr. Gero’s creation could soon become part of canon thanks to the introduction of the remaining Majin Buu cells in the Demon Realm.

Android 21 launch could happen soon

Majin Buu cells are crucial to their creation

Android 21 is one of the most popular characters in the world famous video game Dragon Ball FighterZ. Based on Dr. Gero’s wife Vomi, who died years before the game’s story begins, was portrayed as a benevolent scientist who wanted to continue her creator’s research. Despite her attempts to become a force for good, the Majin Buu cells that make up her body caused her personality to be split into two halves, both capable of accessing the pink villain’s powers . Her good half supports the heroes, while her evil side is the main antagonist of the game.

Her unique design, in both human and Majin form, as well as her intriguing lore made her an instant hit with fans, who have been begging for her to become part of the franchise’s canon. The series already hinted at its existence during the time Dragon Ball Super: Superhero Film in which a photo of Vomi was shown. Still, it is the DAIMA anime that may have provided the most important material needed for 21 to become official; Majin Buu cells.

Dragon Ball Daima makes Majin Buu the main villain of the anime

Majin Buu has always been a big character in Dragon Ball, and Dragon Ball Daima has just made him one of the most important villains in all of anime.

In episode 8 of the anime, it was revealed that Arinsu had collected parts of Babidi’s monster to create a new Majin Buu who would be under her control. Before that, the idea that any remnants of this monster could remain on Earth was simply a fun idea used in video games or non-canon material. However, since DAIMA has opened the door for the introduction of the new Majin, Android 21’s introduction to the main timeline may not be as far-fetched as fans once imagined.

Dr. Hedo could be the one to create 21

He is as brilliant as his grandfather

Dr. Hedo holds a dragon ball in his hand

In the end Dragon BallIn the latest film, Dr. Hedo is recruited by Bulma to work as a researcher and inventor for Capsule Corp. to work. His work on the amazing androids Gamma 1 and 2 proved that he was just as brilliant, if not more so, than his grandfather. He is undoubtedly one of the smartest characters in the series, making him the ideal candidate for the role of 21’s creator. Not only does he have the knowledge to create such an advanced robot, but his desire to do good by creating superheroes would also be a perfect fit for the android.

Unlike his grandfather, who was motivated by the need for revenge against Goku, Hedo’s projects were focused on helping people. This significant shift in goal may explain why Android 21’s true personality was benevolent and kind, and was very different from Gero’s creations. If Hedo gets his hands on a piece of Majin Buu, likely from the Demon Realm, he could bring this iconic android to life and make her a canonical character in the Demon Realm Dragon Ball Super Continuity.

21’s popularity could help it become canon

Other popular characters have already achieved this feat

Broly loses control of his powers after transforming into a Super Saiyan.

When he was first introduced to the franchise in the eighth installment of a long list of amazing things Dragon Ball In the films, Broly was a former villain never to be seen again. But its striking design and impressive strength quickly made it a fan favorite. Fans’ desire to see the legendary Super Saiyan once again led to the creation of two more films centered around his character. Ultimately, his popularity helped him make the leap from a movie-exclusive character to a canonical warrior.

While he suffered many changes between his Z and Super versions, Broly is now part of it Dragon Ballis the official story. Something similar could happen to Android 21, who has become one of the series’ most popular supporting characters. Although it is unlikely that her character will be adopted into the anime exactly as she is portrayed in the game, there is a high chance that she will appear in the anime. Few characters in the side projects have reached her level of fame, so bringing them into the official story might be the right move.

The story of Dragon Ball FighterZ could be Super’s next story arc

A saga containing Hedo’s inventions could give the manga a new boost

Super Hero Manga Prologue

Since the end of the Super Hero arc, fans have been wondering when and how Dragon Ball Super Manga will return. While the franchise hasn’t stopped releasing outstanding content, such as the love letter to Akira Toriyama’s work DAIMA, the manga series never had a proper ending. The launch of Android 21 could usher in a new arc for this popular franchise, adapting the game’s story FighterZ Video game. Since there are no significant threats to Universe 7 other than the still unresolved Black Frieza cliffhanger, Hedo’s creation of a new villain would solve this problem.

The story of this arc would almost certainly differ from that of the video game, but since the manga focuses solely on 21 as the main villain, this could bring one of the most popular video games to life in the series. FighterZ has one of the most entertaining stories in the franchise, making it a perfect candidate for an adaptation. Although the series simplifies the introduction of Android 21, there is still a chance that she remains a non-canon character.

Dragon Ball DAIMA has forever changed the way fans see Toriyama’s world thanks to its fascinating revelations. This amazing series has now opened the door for 21 to enter the series canon, an idea that most fans would like to see implemented. However, her iconic status is unlikely to change as fans still adore her years after her first appearance.
