Drew Timme signs a two -year contract with Nets

March 27: The Nets sign free agent forward Drew In a two-year contract, Michael Scotto von Hoopshype (Twitter-Link) reports. The second year will be a team option.

In 2023, Timme went and rafe after a highly decorated college career at Gonzaga. He has spent the last two seasons in the NBA G league.

Timme, a 6’10 -inch -turret, signed an exhibition 10 with the Bucks in August 2023 and was dispensed with before the start of the 2023/24 season.

In his first professional season, Timme did not have the same influence as in his time with the ZAGs, but he found another opportunity for the NBA last autumn, in which he fell off a training camp with Sacramento. During the tip-off tournament, he opened 200/25 with the Stockton Kings with an average of 11.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists, while in 14 appearances he took 52.3% out of the field, although he only played 19.0 minutes per competition.

Timme changed the teams for the regular season of the G League this winter and landed with Nets’ partner in Long Island. As Scotto notes, Timme was recently appointed NBA G League player of the week after he was an average of 35.7 points and 12.7 rebounds over a period of three games, including a career-fitting 50-point performance.

The 24-year-old has achieved large figures for Long Island and achieved an average of 23.9 points, 10.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists .574/.384/.731 shoot in 29 regular season games (35.6 minutes per competition). Now he will get his first standard NBA contract with the networks.

As our tracker shows, the NETs currently have only 14 players on their standard service plan, so that no corresponding step is required to sign it.
