Some people only think about themselves. Older generations like to think of themselves as more thoughtful, but that’s not always true.

Look at what this lady did to her fellow customers at a car wash.

So today I drove to the Shell gas station to fill up and get the car washed.

This is set up so that you have to drive around behind the building to get into the car wash and you can’t see the entrance from the gas pumps.

Seems like a good system. Until she shows up.

Fill up my car, grab my receipt with my code and drive around… To find a blue Lexus blocking the driveway.

The owner had just parked it in front and left it there. There was a guy in front of me in line and we were both getting frustrated.

I tried calling the station number but no answer. As I called, the man in front of me got out and went inside.

About two minutes later he comes out, followed by a staff member and a little old lady carrying a cup of train station coffee and a cane in one hand. It turned out she barely used the other one.

And he can’t get over her demands.

It takes her about five minutes to get in the car, get out, enter her code, get back in and finally go to the laundry.

All in all, I think I spent an extra 10 minutes waiting for this woman who didn’t bother to park in front of the car, get her coffee and code, and THEN drive to the entrance.

I know 10 minutes isn’t much, but it’s still incredibly rude and I had a place to be.
