EID 2025: When is Eid-Ul-Fitr-30. March, March 31?

Usually an Islamic month is either 29 days or 30 days. In Saudi Arabia, where the Ramadan began on March 1, Eid-Ul-Fitr fell either on March 30th or 31 March, depending on the crescent moon. In India, Eid-Al-Fitr is usually on one day after it is in Saudi Arabia.

In India, Ramzan is likely to end on March 2, around March 31, if the month lasts 29 days. It would be April 1, if the month lasts Ramadan for 30 days.

In India, Eid would be celebrated either on March 31 (Monday) or on April 1 (Tuesday).

The date on which Eid al-Fitr falls is decided by the lunar cycle. If the crescent moon was spotted on March 30, Eid-Ul-Fitr would celebrate the next day, which is March 31, and if the moon is spotted on March 31, Eid would be celebrated on April 1.

Importance of oath-ul-fitr
