Elderly woman killed in two-car collision near Pullman | News

PULLMAN, Wash. – A two-car collision is blocking westbound traffic on Highway 270 at milepost 9 near Airport Road, seven miles east of Pullman.

According to the Washington State Patrol, an elderly female driver was killed in the accident, while the driver and passenger in the other car were uninjured.

The closure began at 3:17 p.m. and will remain in effect until further notice.

According to WSP, westbound traffic is currently blocked, but eastbound traffic is fully open.

According to WSP, the estimated time for the road to reopen is 5 hours. Please use an alternative route.

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is on scene and detouring to Airport Road.

Correction: WSP initially reported this accident as involving three cars, but has now confirmed it was a two-car accident.
