Elections in Delhi 2025 Live: Discounts for votes- Salons’ trick to increase the turnout; 19.95% until 11 a.m.

The assembly elections in Delhi are set for Wednesday, with the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) being involved in an intensive election campaign. Over 1.56 CRore voters decide whether the AAP of Arvind Kejriwal secures a third term or whether BJP is celebrating a comeback while the congress is faced with the challenge of avoiding a third election in a row without securing seats.

The election process will develop in 13,766 polling stations with 83.76 LAKH voters, 72.36 LAKH voters and 1,267 voters of third genders who are entitled to participate.

On the last campaign day, the AAP chairman Kejriwal, the Prime Minister of Delhi, Atishi, carried out several rallies, including one in Kalkaji. Kejriwal has predicted that AAP will secure at least 55 of the 70 assembly seats.

AAP’s earlier optional services were remarkable and won in 2015 in 2020 and 67 seats, which overwhelmed both BJP and Congress.

The BJP made an aggressive campaign with 22 road shows and rallies. The high -ranking party numbers, including the Interior Minister of the Union, Amit Shah, Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh, BJP President JP Nadda and several BJP chief minister, led the campaign efforts of the last day.

The congress also reinforced its campaign efforts, with Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi performing separate road shows in Kalkaji and Kasturba Nagar.

In the campaign, heated debates about welfare programs, alleged alcohol fraud, “Sheesh Mahal”, unemployment, water supply, pollution and health insurance were experienced. AI-generated parodies and catchy slogans dominated the campaign landscape.

AAP described BJP as “Bharatiya Jhootha Party” and “Gali Galoch Party”, while Prime Minister Modi AAP called “AAP-DAA” and Kejriwal as “Ghoshna Mantri”. The congress called Kejriwal “Farziwal” and a “Chhota charging” from Modi.

One of the most important constituencies that attract special attention were Neu -Delhi, which was held by AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Kalkaji and which was represented by Chief Minister Atishi.

During the entire campaign, AAP expressed concerns about violations of the survey code and the alleged election commission, the BJP preferred. The party promoted its development model and 15 important promises, including monthly financial support for women.

The BJP campaign focused on allegations of corruption against the government of Kejriwal and campaigned for a double government with a uniform state and central BJP leadership.

In the 2020 election elections, a turnout of 62.82% was recorded and showed a decrease of 4.65% compared to the 67.47% turnout in 2015.

The election results will be announced on February 8, which has recently marked the conclusion of one of the most important election competitions in Delhi.
