Elon Musk’s father exposes memories of bullying and more in candid interview

Elon Musk’s estranged father dropped several major bombshells in an extensive, uncensored interview on the web series “Podcast and Chill with MacG” earlier this month.

During the interview with podcaster Macgyver Mukwevho, businessman and politician Errol Musk claimed that tensions arose between him and his son over Errol’s support for President-elect Donald Trump, whom he called a “good man” and “solid businessman.”

“He was just brainwashed by these Democrats,” the elder Musk said at the time of his son, who has evolved in recent years from a Democratic donor to one of Trump’s most powerful supporters.

In fact, Elon Musk campaigned so heavily for Trump this year that he was given an unofficial role in the next presidential administration as co-head of the newly created Department of Government Efficiency.

Elsewhere during the conversation, Errol Musk remembered his son as a “typical boy,” albeit one without a filter.

When asked if the tech billionaire was bullied as a child, as Musk has claimed, his father remembered it a little differently.

“No, that’s another story that’s not entirely true,” said Errol Musk.

According to the elder Musk, a high school-era incident that Elon replayed — when a classmate pushed him down a flight of stairs and sent him to the hospital — actually began with Elon resenting another boy over his father’s suicide.

“A boy’s father had committed suicide and everyone knew it, and Elon said to this boy, ‘Your father was stupid,'” said Errol Musk. He agreed the man’s suicide was “stupid”. But even police and school officials, he recalled, told Errol that “what Elon said to that boy is too much.” You can’t say that.”

During the interview, Errol Musk also cleared up some misconceptions about his involvement in the African emerald trade.

Elon Musk has repeatedly denied that his father ever owned an emerald mine. But the elder Musk — who actually owned a stake in an emerald mine in Zambia, according to Snopes — said his son was fully aware of his father’s work in the gem industry and once even helped him negotiate a deal with Tiffany & Co.

“Elon knows everything about the emeralds,” claimed Errol Musk. “That’s just because he wants to tell the people of America that it was hard for him too.”

In the casual conversation, Musk also touched on his affair with his former stepdaughter, discussed his family’s ties to South Africa’s apartheid regime and expressed his opinion on Elon’s violation of his transgender daughter Vivian Wilson.
