Elton John reveals he is now blind after admitting he ‘doesn’t know how much time he has left’ – News

The music icon previously admitted he doesn’t know how much time he has left and is now thinking more about his mortality.

Elton John, 77, has spoken out in more detail about his ongoing difficulties, pointing out that his problems are affecting his ability to attend appointments.

The artist is no longer touring and has stated that it costs too much to travel so much to perform. However, he has vowed to continue making music.

Elton has been very open about the eye problems he has been experiencing following an infection he contracted in France earlier this year.

The music legend wrote the text for the new musicalThe devil wears Prada, and he recently spoke on stage about his health while praising his husband David Furnish for being “his rock.”

He added: “I couldn’t come to many of the previews because, as you know, I lost my eyesight. So it’s hard for me to see it. But I love hearing it and boy did it sound good tonight.”

As I continue to speak Good morning America Last week, the music icon said his vision problems would delay his next album.

He said: “Unfortunately I lost my sight in my right eye in July because I had an infection in the south of France and I haven’t been able to see for four months now and my left eye isn’t as good as I was. “

“So there’s hope and encouragement that it’s going to be good, but… I’m kind of stuck at the moment because I can do something like that (the interview), but going into the studio and recording, I don’t. I don’t know because I can’t see any text at first.”

John has had a number of health issues over the years, including having to remove or replace several things.

In his upcoming documentary Elton John: Never too latethe artist reflected on his legacy and how much time he has left before he dies.

He said: “This is the last period of my life. I don’t know how much time I have left.”

“I don’t have tonsils, adenoids or an appendix. I don’t have a prostate. I don’t have a right hip or a left knee or a right knee.”

“In fact, the only thing I have left is my left hip. But I’m still here. And I can’t thank you enough, you are the people who made me.”
