Eric Barone says he just can’t “let go” of Stardew Valley “to work on something that isn’t yet established and meaningful to people.”

Stardew Valley is Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone’s pride and joy, and with good reason, having sold more than 30 million copies, and he has expressed that he finds it difficult to put it down and move on to other projects.

Of course, Barone announced his new project Haunted Chocolatier back in October 2021, but since then we’ve only heard snippets of information and the odd screenshot. Well, in a new blog post specifically about Haunted Chocolatier, Barone revealed that he’s been struggling a bit with balancing developing new projects while keeping Stardew fans fed.
