Eversource, Avangrid file lawsuit against Pura

Connecticut (WTNH) – Eversource and Avangrid filed a lawsuit against Pura this week and claimed that they have had “illegal” practices that caused “prejudices” and “potential damage to others”.

Governor Ned Lamont replied to the lawsuit.

“Look, I find it incredibly not helpful. Everyone gets angry with the referees and I understand that Eversource doesn’t get everything they want and they bring a suit. It was a surprise for me, ”said Lamont.

Senator Steve Harding, Senator Steve Harding, also commented on the lawsuit and said that the energy issues in our state are in a “crisis”.

“I think this is a symbol of the fact that our energy problems in the state are in a crisis,” said Harding. “Pura does not seem to get by any of the supply companies, but also a great service for the evaluation of payers for supply companies. The interest payer is calculated the highest prices in the country. “

Pura replied to the lawsuit and partially said:

“This lawsuit is nothing more than a clearly time -controlled distraction of the supply companies to thwart the renown of the commissioners that they regulate. This lawsuit is an attempt to occupy this as a problem with the proper process after you have repeatedly not made yourself in the way. “
