Every week, New Jersey football fans become more and more embarrassed

Where do we even begin? Is it the Giants at 2-9? The Jets at 3-8? Is Saquon Barkley having a historic season with the Eagles?

No matter how you look at it, New Jersey football fans have been crushed in every way. And it’s been that way for almost a decade and a half.

The Giants won the Super Bowl in 2011. Since then they have had three successful seasons. During the same period, the Jets had a successful season.

It’s truly remarkable how pathetic both franchises were. They haven’t given their fans anything to get excited about.

The Giants finally parted ways with Daniel Jones after a tumultuous six years that saw little to no improvement. It seems like they are leaning toward firing their fifth head coach since 2015.

Somehow the Jets seem to outplay them at every turn. Its owner flew into the practice in his helicopter to fire the team’s general manager. Aaron Rodgers, who was supposed to be the team’s savior, was the team’s anchor. He drags her into the abyss with his career.

I can’t even tell the fans that there is light at the end of the tunnel, because there isn’t.

These two teams are far from capable of winning. Especially not in the foreseeable future. It’s a shame for the fans. They are among the most loyal in the sport. But their teams have beaten them so badly that they may not have fans left when they finally turn things around.
