Ex-NBA player claims

Paige Bueckers and Caitlin Clark are recognized among the best in women’s basketball.

The former NBA veteran Etan Thomas, the No. 12 selection in the draft of 2000, contrasts how white Americans consider the two based on their strong differences in pronouncing racist injustice.

“Perhaps it is because, unlike Clark, Bueckers has always been issued about questions outside of the court,” said Thomas in one Guardian Article. “At the Espys 2021, Bueckers was appointed College athlete of the year. She used her acceptance speech to celebrate and honor black women in particular.”

In Buecker’s famous Espys speech, she used her platform to recognize those who did not get the same recognition as they got, and emphasized the black women who inspired them and shaped them.

“While Black America Bueckers cheered, it seemed like Mainstream, White America – a population group that once considered a” media favorite ” – not so much praise and still not,” Thomas continued. “Is that a coincidence? Or maybe because your injuries make people forget their size as athletes? It may now be back from injuries. Why are people not on Bustball as they were on Clark last season when they had torn college basketball tore?

Thomas even referred to the “villain arch” by Angel Reese in the 2023 NCAA women’s championship as an example that white America Clark praised a fictional enemy.

“In the meantime there was no black villain to compete against Buseckers,” said Thomas. “The fact that this has led to less attention and worship from Central America says a lot about the state of the country.”
