Fams send the GameCocks women’s basketball team in Birmingham for Sweet 16

Columbia, SC (WIS) – The fans of the Women’s Basketball team at the University of South Carolina – lovingly called FAMS – send the team in Birmingham on their way to Sweet 16.

The sendoff starts today at 2:40 p.m. EST in the Westin Hotel in Birmingham before typing Maryland at 5 p.m. EST.

For Fams in Birmingham

The Gamecock Club and the USC Alumni Association said that they had brought the “Gamecock Hauptquartier” to Paramount Birmingham through the weekend. The Gamecock headquarters will open two hours before Tippoff for each game and FAMS offer a free place to cheer on the team.
