Fantasy Football Defense Streaming Week 14: Get Ready for the Fantasy Playoffs

We’ve had a hectic week full of surprises from Thursday to Monday. Now we have to move on to a week with playoff hopes on the line, six teams with fantasy-relevant players on every roster, and a few defenses that were ready to go every week bye.

With six teams on byes, there is generally a greater need for quality streaming defense than available teams, but I think there are some options this week. This is the final week of playoff contention in most leagues. It’s time to stop fighting for the playoffs and get involved.

Week 13 review

It’s been a really good week for our streaming picks. We had three finishes in the top nine DSTs, including our deeper pick in the Cowboys, who finished as DST3 this week. Our two surprise picks in the Bills and Packers DSTs exceeded expectations thanks to colder conditions (or just a bad offense, who’s to say?).

Unfortunately, the Bucs didn’t hold up their end of the bargain against the Panthers, but in their defense (I’ll mention the Bucs again in a moment), it turns out that Bryce Young might not be so bad. In fact, Young could be perfect as an NFL quarterback, and the time off did what it was supposed to do.

Overall this year we have 36 hits and 12 misses.
