Fantasy Football Streaming Wide Receivers Will Add to Waiver Wire in Week 14

The final week of the fantasy football regular season is here. In the great wisdom of NFL schedulers, it’s also the toughest bye week of the season, with the Broncos, Colts, Commanders, Patriots, Ravens and Texans all having the week off.

Major gaps need to be filled across all lineups and we are here to help. Below are three solid wide receiver streaming options for Week 14. These players are good options to consider this week and could also be good in the playoffs depending on your needs.

For the complete waiver wire pick-up guide for Week 14, check out SI Fantasy Insider Michael Fabiano’s waiver wire pick-up article. Let’s focus on the wide receivers first and see what’s out there. All availability data comes from ESPN.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Tennessee Titans, 80% available

I mentioned Westbrook-Ikhine in the Week 12 edition of this story and since then he has scored three TDs, including two in Week 13. He has relied heavily on TDs to score in fantasy games and so far he has delivered , with at least one receiving a TD in eight of their last nine games.

If you’re worried about usage, don’t be. While his total earnings are low (seven in the last three weeks combined), his goals are not. He has averaged 6.3 goals per game over the last three weeks, the best player on the team, and played in 100% of the Titans’ offensive snaps in Week 13.

This week, NWI has an exciting matchup against the Jaguars, who give up the third-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. It doesn’t get much better for a streaming option.

Adam Thielen, Carolina Panthers, 72% available

Thielen exploded in his second game back from injury, making eight catches for 99 yards and a TD in Week 13. He also had another near-TD, but it was determined he didn’t control the ball even though it looked like he did. Overall, he had 10 targets in Week 13, the most on the team.

You could say this was a product of the Panthers playing the weak Bucs in the secondary. You may also be wondering how much things will change for Thielen, who was the Panthers’ primary slot receiver in Week 13 with Jalen Coker expected to return from injury. But don’t let that put you off. Thielen was Bryce Young’s favorite target entering his rookie season last year and clearly still has his trust.

The Panthers will face a tougher opponent in Week 14, taking on an Eagles secondary that will give up the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. I’d still pick him up when the Panthers face the shaky Cowboys in Week 15, followed by games against the Cardinals and Bucs. He could start for you in the championship.

Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars, 99% available

Washington could be a one-hit wonder after putting up 24.3 points and catching six passes for 103 yards and a TD in Week 13 against the Texans. However, if you need a quality player who is available in virtually every league, you may not find a better one than Washington.

The biggest concern is Mac Jones becoming the presumptive starting quarterback moving forward after Trevor Lawrence suffered a horrific concussion in Week 13. On the other hand, much of Washington’s performance came after Jones entered the game. Sometimes these backups gain more confidence because they practice together.

This week, Washington will face a strong Titans defensive field that is giving up the eighth-fewest fantasy points to opposing WRs. However, the Jaguars could face negative play and may need to throw more. That could play into Washington’s hands.
