Fatal car crash on I-4 kills one-year-old – WFTV

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A 1-year-old girl was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday, according to the Florida High Patrol.

According to a report, the accident occurred around 12:45 a.m. on I-4 East in Hillsborough County.

According to FHP, a 30-year-old woman from Dundee was driving a Toyota RAV4 that also contained a 34-year-old woman from Orlando, a six-year-old girl, a three-year-old boy and the one-year-old boy. old.

According to FHP, a Jeep Cherokee driven by a 21-year-old woman from Englewood was behind the Toyota and collided with the rear of the vehicle as she tried to pass.

According to police, both drivers suffered life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospitals.

The Toyota’s passengers included the Orlando woman and children, who were also taken to the hospital.

According to police, the six-year-old and three-year-old suffered non-life-threatening injuries, while the one-year-old did not survive her injuries.
