“I wondered what life would be like if people gave in instead of drinking too much,” recalls Chialtas. “This miracle became a mission, a movement to empower all of us to make healthier choices while seeking joyful experiences, so we can relax when we need it, be present for what matters most and then be able to show our best side.”

Infused beverages offer a Goldilocks choice: all the benefits of cannabis without inhaling vapor or smoke, and none of the downsides of alcohol, but with the convenient, familiar form factor of alcohol.

Chialtas said many people find cannabis drinks more appealing than edibles for one important reason.

“THC drinks work faster and help you find miracles faster,” he said. “The speed at which it hits can really help you avoid drinking too much.”

Since edibles can take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours to take full effect, safety concerns come into play. In some situations, especially with inexperienced consumers, it can easily happen that the recommended dosages of food are exceeded. If a consumer does not experience the expected effects quickly enough, they may be tempted to consume too much – which can lead to a potentially dangerous situation.

During field testing in Nashville, consumers were “amazed” within seconds, expressing surprise at both the THC drink’s quick effects and “delicious” taste.

“Our dosages range from 5 mg to 10 mg of THC, and the effects don’t last as long as an edible, so it’s a much better option,” Chialtas said. “That’s a big difference between edibles and our THC drinks. They are not a traditional “edible.” Yes, you take the drink, but it works quickly and the effects wear off more quickly than an edible. It’s a win/win scenario.”

Some who appreciate the benefits of cannabis want to participate in a social setting, and that isn’t always possible with the plant. Find Wunder’s infused drinks have no distinct cannabis aroma and the attractive, traditional cans are discreet. They might as well contain a spiked seltzer.

Chialtas says infused drinks offer the social benefits of alcohol without the chaos — no slurred speech, no staggering or falling, and no hangover. During field testing in Nashville, consumers expressed delight at the relaxing sensations they experienced.

“THC drinks calm you down and make you have a good, fun time,” Chialtas said. “They just encourage the fun side of alcohol at the party. They do not promote the struggles and overall destructive effects that alcohol has on some normal people. After a few drinks of alcohol, people can go from nice to evil and from happy to terrible.”
