First alarm action day to Sunday due to floods

(KFVS) – We spend the first MAIRT campaign days until Sunday due to floods.

Strong storms and some possible tornadoes moved through the core country on Wednesday, April 2.

A fall flood warning applies to parts of Western Kentucky.

The chief meteorologist Grant Dade says that the forecasting in the early Sunday morning is more than 10 inch rain for a large part of the region.

An active frontal border will wave the region back and forth from Thursday to Saturday or Sunday.

This leads to periods of showers and thunderstorms. Strong storms will still be a threat, but the bigger problem will be strong rainfall.

If this happens, which likes to appear, there will be considerable floods of falls on Thursday and Sunday.

The biggest threat from heavy rain and heavy storms on Thursday takes place at the stand, Northwest Tennessee and Western Kentucky, closer to the front. This front will move north this evening and Friday, which leads to an increased severe/flood risk for the entire area. The front will return south this weekend.

The heaviest rains seem to be on Friday and Saturday, but the gusty north winch and the light rain will continue until Sunday.

All campsites flood along the rivers. Please do not sit on River campsites this weekend. All of our ozark flows and trees will be seen considerable floods. All streams and rivers in South Fillinois and Western Kentucky as well as in the northwest of Tennessee will flood.

If you live near one of these areas or in a low area that is occasionally flooded, you are now planning plans to switch to higher soil when the flooding in your region begins.

Flood clocks will continue for the entire core country until Sunday.

This is an extremely active weather pattern. The showers should finally rejuvenate and take off on Sunday, but large river floods will probably last for many days.
