Tamzin Hall, 17, from Wellington, Somerset, suffered fatal injuries when she was hit by a car between Taunton and Bridgwater on November 11.

Amy Hall, her mother, said: “Tamzin was the kindest, most caring, loving and loyal girl ever.”

The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), which is investigating the incident, has served two police officers with misconduct notices for “possible breaches of their duties and responsibilities”.

Bristol Cars is making a comeback after a property tycoon’s investment, according to Bristol 24/7.

Somerset Live reported on the all-female barbershop in Crewkerne, where The staff wears mustaches for Movember to encourage conversations about health with their male customers.

Senior reporter Nancy Connolly said that Krew Barbers is “breaking gender barriers for a good cause” and that there is a serious side to this as men are not as open about their health issues.

Not much work is done in Bertie’s new home office

Finally, some cheerful news about Bertie, the one-eyed rescue cat “Now I live the high life” according to ITV West Country.

Bertie was just 12 weeks old when he was admitted to West Hatch Animal Center in Taunton to have his right eye removed after suffering from severe cat flu.

He was adopted by Hannah Lawson from Taunton and quickly became part of the family.

“My husband Andy works from home, so we also wanted to give Bertie an office so they could both work from home together – except Bertie just sleeps in it,” Ms Lawson said.
