Football: TCU WR Jack Bech declares for the 2025 NFL Draft

TCU wide receiver Jack Bech announced on X earlier this month that he will enter his name in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Biletnikoff Award semifinalist had an outstanding senior season for the Horned Frogs, finishing with 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns on 62 catches. Bech became only the fifth TCU athlete to reach more than 1,000 receiving yards in a single season. It was the best season of his career for Bech, who totaled more yards and touchdown catches than in his previous three college seasons combined.

Bech began his college career at LSU, where he rushed for 689 yards and four touchdowns in two seasons before transferring to TCU. Bech was expected to be a major contributor in the 2023 season, but injuries derailed his junior season, which ended with 12 catches for 146 yards in eight games. The 6-foot-1, 215-pounder from Lafayette, Louisiana, burst onto the scene in TCU’s season-opening non-conference win over the Stanford Cardinal when he had six catches for 139 yards and a touchdown.

Bech established himself as the Horned Frogs’ No. 1 receiver during their game against UCF, as he tallied 200 yards and a touchdown on nine receptions. Bech was dominant throughout September, catching eight passes for 166 yards and two scores against SMU and ten catches for 131 yards and two more scores in TCU’s win over Kansas at Arrowhead Stadium. Bech finished the season as an All-Big 12 second-team honoree and TCU’s team leader in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown receptions.
