22:46 CET – In Sergio Conceicao’s first Serie A game as AC Milan coach, the Rossoneri were held to a 1-1 draw at home against Cagliari.

20:57 CET – In Ligue 1, Marseille travel to Rennes, which starts in about 10 minutes, while AC Milan’s home game against Cagliari in Serie A has just begun.

20:38 CET – Manchester City advanced to the fourth round of the FA Cup with a brutal 8-0 win over second division side Salford. 22-year-old James McAtee scored a hat-trick.

19:23 CET – FC Bayern Munich secured a 1-0 win in Mönchengladbach and restored their lead at the top of the Bundesliga thanks to a penalty from Harry Kane.

20:01 CET – Juventus drew another game in Serie A, with Torino earning a 1-1 draw against Thiago Motta’s men. It is noteworthy that Juventus remains unbeaten in the league this season, but is in fifth place with seven wins and twelve draws. Anything but ideal.

19:05 CET – Brest picked up a whopping three points in Ligue 1, beating sixth-placed Lyon 2-1 to move up to tenth place in the table.

18:56 CET – We’ve reached the halfway point of Serie A between Turin and Juventus, and Nikola Vlasic’s goal just before half-time canceled out Kenan Yildiz’s earlier strike, making it tantalizingly 1-1.

17:40 CET – The focus in Germany is on league leaders Bayern Munich, who travel to Borussia Mönchengladbach with kick-off at 6:30 p.m. After Bayer Leverkusen’s impressive win over Dortmund last night, Bayern will be hoping for a win to restore their four-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga.

17:27 CET – Frankfurt was able to hold on to victory after defending its first-half lead against St. Pauli, moving up to third place in the Bundesliga for the time being.

17:20 CET – Torino next host Juventus in Serie A, with Thiago Motta and his side under pressure to produce a positive result after a mixed run of form.

17:05 CET – Moving to Serie A, Atalanta will be lucky to escape with a point after Udinese’s dominance, but for a team with Scudetto ambitions, a point isn’t good enough.

The title challengers have not shown up yet and Alexis Sanchez should have given Udinese the lead just before half-time. The former Arsenal star hit the post before hitting the crossbar from point-blank range on the rebound.
